Purpose: To engage in Christian mission work through education, service, and spiritual development.
The Women's Missionary Society is a vital part of the AME Church, dedicated to supporting missions locally and globally while nurturing women in faith and leadership.
Purpose: To develop young people spiritually, intellectually, and socially through Christian education and service.
Part of the Women's Missionary Society, the YPD provides programming and leadership development for our youth, preparing the next generation of church leaders.
Purpose: To organize and train the laity for effective service in the church and community.
The Lay Organization empowers members to use their gifts in ministry, provides leadership training, and coordinates lay involvement in the life of the church. All baptized members are part of the laity and are encouraged to participate.
Purpose: To provide biblical instruction for all ages, building strong foundations of faith.
Join us every Sunday at 9:15 AM for Bible study designed for children, youth, and adults. Also available via conference call for those unable to attend in person.
Purpose: To deepen understanding of God's Word and grow in faith through study and prayer.
Our midweek Bible Study offers in-depth exploration of Scripture in a welcoming, discussion-based environment. Join us via Zoom for prayer and teaching.
Purpose: To lead the congregation in worship through song, creating space for hearts to be lifted to God.
Our music ministry ministers through traditional hymns, contemporary praise, and spirited gospel music. We lead worship on Sundays and special occasions, inviting the presence of God through song.
Who Can Join: All who have a heart for worship! No audition required.
Purpose: To share the Good News of Jesus Christ and extend the reach of the church into the community.
The Evangelism Ministry leads outreach efforts, community engagement, and sharing the gospel with those who have not yet heard. We believe every believer is called to be a witness for Christ.
Purpose: To create a welcoming atmosphere and ensure orderly, reverent worship.
Ushers are often the first faces visitors see. They greet worshippers, assist with seating, receive offerings, distribute materials, and maintain a spirit of reverence during service. Ushers serve as doorkeepers in God's house.
Purpose: To care for the spiritual welfare of members and assist the pastor in administering the sacraments.
Stewards are servant leaders who look after the needs of the congregation, prepare communion, and support the pastor's ministry to the church family.
Purpose: To assist the Stewards in preparing for Holy Communion and caring for the spiritual needs of the congregation.
Stewardesses serve alongside Stewards in preparing the Lord's Table and ensuring all elements of worship are in place.
Purpose: To provide support and care for the pastor and the pastor's family.
Pastor's Aid ministry ensures the pastor's needs are met so they can focus on shepherding the congregation. This includes practical support, encouragement, and prayer.
Purpose: To manage the physical property and temporal affairs of the church.
Trustees are responsible for the care, maintenance, and legal matters related to church property. They ensure our facilities are safe, functional, and welcoming for worship and ministry.
Purpose: To serve as the governing body of the local church, providing leadership and oversight of church affairs.
The Official Board is comprised of the pastor, stewards, trustees, and other key leaders. They meet regularly to discuss church business, set direction, and make decisions for the good of the congregation.
