We're So Glad You're Coming!

We know visiting a new church can feel uncertain. We want you to feel comfortable and welcomed from the moment you arrive. Here's everything you need to know for your first visit.

Miller Chapel AME Church building

514 University Pkwy, University Park, IL 60484

When to Arrive

Sunday Worship: 10:30 AM
We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early for your first visit. This gives you time to find parking, meet our greeters, and get settled before worship begins.

Church School: 9:15 AM
Join a Bible study class before service if you'd like to dive deeper into God's Word.

Where to Park

Free parking is available in our church lot. Look for our parking attendants who can direct you to available spaces and point you toward the main entrance.

What to Wear

Come as you are. You'll see a range of attire at Miller Chapel—some dress up, others keep it casual. What matters most is that you're here. God isn't concerned about your outfit; neither are we.

What About My Children?

Children are always welcome in worship! We also offer Kingdom Kids—age-appropriate programming during the service. Ask a greeter about children's ministry when you arrive.

What Happens During Worship
